All-Stars Paul George and Joel Embiid both missed Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers with knee injuries.

Nine-time NBA All-Star Paul George signed a four year, $212 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason. The deal came after five seasons with the LA Clippers, as George and his hometown team were unable to come close on an agreement.

As the Sixers now move forward, coach Nick Nurse gave the latest on both George and Embiid before the contest with the Clippers. "I think they’re both progressing OK," Nurse said. "Paul was on the court and doing some work. Just talked to Joel a few hours ago earlier today. He says he’s feeling a little better. Swelling’s getting better."
