Traffic is being delayed by about two-and-a-half hours on a section of the M25 after a "serious" lorry fire resulted in 12 miles (19.3km) of congestion, National Highways says.

National Highways has warned motorists are facing up to three hours of delay on the M25 in light of an incident.

Queues of up to 10 miles are stretching across the M25, with drivers queuing for several hours after a huge lorry fire that resulted in two lanes closing between junctions five and six.
