The Boston Red Sox really are trying to pull off a massive shocker this offseason. New York Yankees star Juan Soto is the top free agent available and clearly will make pretty much any team he lands with a contender immediately.

In his pitch for Juan Soto to sign with the Red Sox, David Ortiz called Alex Cora the "best manager in the Major Leagues."

David Ortiz really wants to see the Red Sox sign Juan Soto this winter, and believe the team will do what it takes to land the bigger name available this offseason.
