The BJP-led NDA is likely to win Maharashtra, as well as, gain control over Jharkhand after the 2024 assembly polls, showed majority of the exit poll results on Wednesday. The official results will be declared on November 23.

While poll of polls have predicted BJP-led NDA’s victory in Jharkhand, the fight is going to be tough. The saffron party is projected to win 40 out of the 81 Assembly seats while its opponent INDIA bloc might be able to bag 37 seats.

NDA, which is fighting as a team in both states, has maintained a comfortable lead in Maharashtra. In Jharkhand, the INDIA bloc is giving a tough fight to the BJP.

As counting day approaches, exit polls suggest a fierce battle between the BJP-led NDA and the JMM-led INDIA bloc in Jharkhand, while I Maharashtra, a potential sweep for the ruling Mahayuti alliance is on the cards.

The BJP has fielded candidates in 68 seats, with allies AJSU Party contesting 10, JD(U) two, and Lok Janshakti (Ram Vilas) one
