The former Florida congressman teased the possibility days after his nomination for the nation’s top law enforcement job was derailed by a sex scandal.

One week after President-elect Donald Trump shocked Florida by naming U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz as his pick for attorney general, Gaetz has withdrawn his nomination. The week since Gaetz’s nomination has been dominated by talk of a House ethics investigation into allegations Gaetz had sex with a minor.

Florida’s Sun Sentinel newspaper made crystal clear its damning opinion on President-elect Donald Trump’s controversial tapping of former Rep.
