An El Paso man was sentenced to more than four decades in prison for the sexual abuse of a young girl, authorities said.

Former El Paso County Deputy Dalton Bridges was arrested earlier this week. Bridges will serve 30 days in jail, and four years of probation, and has to register as a sex offender. The judge also ordered him to take domestic violence classes and alcohol abuse classes.

(KKTV) -On Thursday, the former El Paso County deputy accused of kidnapping a woman, Dalton Bridges, was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail. In court, the judge accepted the plea agreement in Bridges’s case.
