In the locker room after the game, Colorado coach Deion Sanders gave his team a pretty blunt assessment as to why he thinks they lost to the Jayhawks. "The problem is you guys are intoxicated with success," Sanders told his players after the game.

He believes the Buffaloes' success, heading into the game on a four-game win streak, ultimately hurt Colorado's hunger. While that may have fallen on production from players on the field, Sanders admitted that he's to blame for the loss.
