The Utah Jazz have made an intriguing decision on their lottery selection from this summer's draft. According to Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune, rookie Cody Williams has been assigned to the Jazz's G League affiliate,

Cody Williams hasn’t quite taken off as we may have hoped. To authenticate this feeling, the Utah Jazz made the organizational decision to take Williams from Will Hardy’s active roster and drop him down for an assignment with the G-League affiliate Salt Lake Stars.

Once again, turnovers led to the Jazz loss. But the biggest story in Jazzland the last couple of days was Cody Williams being sent to the G-League. That also gave Brice Sensabaugh more opportunity. Jazz beat writer Andy Larsen what those players need to look to do.

The Utah Jazz are just 3-9, dead last in the Western Conference. After declaring that they would go “big game hunting” in the 2024 offseason, this is a disappointing turn of events.
