A decision on the fate of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy could be made on Monday. Pakistan have reportedly agreed to host the tournament in a hybrid model.

The last time Pakistan hosted an ICC event was in the year of 1996. The Asia Cup, held in the country last year, was also conducted in a hybrid model, with all of India’s games taking place in Sri Lanka.

Though the Pakistan Board remained firm on not accepting the hybrid model at any cost, they lowered their ground after the apex body’s two-day deadline warning.
