Colorado Buffaloes hybrid star Travis Hunter continues to prove why he is one of the best players in all of college football and a leading Heisman Trophy candidate. Through eight games this year, Hunter and the Buffaloes find themselves ranked 21st in the AP Top 25 poll with a 6-2 record.

Travis Hunter has made it clear that his respect for Tom Brady's legacy runs deep. The young star, who has turned heads with his dynamic play on both sides of the ball, recently spoke about how he would handle being drafted by the New England Patriots — a scenario that’s becoming increasingly possible given Hunter's projected high draft stock in 2025.

While he has made it clear he doesn’t have a preference for where he wants to be drafted, he did clarify his potential jersey number. Hunter currently wears No. 12 at Colorado, a nod to Tom Brady, who famously donned the same number during his Hall of Fame career with the Patriots.

The Colorado star sports the No. 12 in college, but knows he might not be able to carry that number over into the NFL.
