SAN FRANCISCO — The first of what is expected to be five jersey retirements from the Golden State Warriors dynasty has been announced. The franchise will retire Andre Iguodala’s No. 9 jersey on Feb. 23, coinciding with another Klay Thompson return night, allowing Thompson to attend.

Professional sports yeller Chris “Mad Dog” Russo believes Andre Iguodala does not deserve to have his jersey retired by the Warriors. Golden State announced Tuesday that the ceremony to hang the 2015 NBA Finals MVP’s number from the rafters would take place on Feb.

Retired swingman Andre Iguodala will become just the seventh player to have his number retired by the Golden State Warriors in a ceremony next month.
