Denny Hamlin had a tough day at Watkins Glen, finishing 23rd and dropping to 13th in the standings, six points behind Ty Gibbs on the postseason cutoff line. But he says he can win Saturday at Bristol and earn the automatic spot into the second round.

Bowman is tied with Logano on points and was 18th at Watkins Glen after finishing fifth at Atlanta. He’s finished in the top 13 in three of his last Bristol starts. Suarez has the best average finish of any playoff driver so far with finishes of second at Atlanta and 13th at Watkins Glen.
