The San Francisco 49ers finished their Week 17 "Sunday Night Football" contest with a 42-38 win over the Chicago Bears at Levi's® Stadium.

The Bears and 49ers proved Sunday night that they have the offensive horsepower to go that deep in the postseason, engaging in a duel at Levi’s Stadium that featured 936 total yards, 58 first downs and 10 offensive touchdowns.

The 49ers (11-4) will miss their play-making tight end while at the same time welcome back one of their top receivers when they host the Chicago Bears (11-4) tonight at Levi’s Stadium (5:20 p.m., NBC). The 49ers are 10-14 since 2017 in games without Kittle and 71-52 with him in the lineup.

San Francisco would have a better chance at the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs if Seattle can pull off the victory at home.

According to The Athletic, the Rams will have a 37% chance to win the West if the Colts win, or a 19% chance if the 49ers win. That’s because the 49ers own the tiebreaker over the Rams based on their winning percentage in the division, so the Rams would have to finish one game ahead of San Francisco in order to be a higher seed.

The Seahawks and 49ers will battle for the NFC West crown and the conference’s top seed on Saturday at 5 p.m. on ABC & ESPN.
