Ticketless Taylor Swift fans hoping for a "Taylgate" party in Vancouver are out of luck. The gatherings outside venues have become a hallmark of Swift's Eras Tour, but officials in Vancouver are actively discouraging fans without tickets to avoid the BC Place stadium district for the three shows on Dec.

The good news for Seattle-area Swifties— you can still get tickets. SeatGeek, StubHub, and Vivid Seats have listings for every show. The bad news? It’s going to be an expensive evening.

Presenters from the city, Vancouver police, TransLink and BC Place will discuss how the city is getting ready for the shows on Dec. 6, 7 and 8.

And in Vancouver, where Swift will wrap up her tour on December 6, 7, and 8, Tay-gating is being strongly discouraged. "If you don't have a ticket, don't come to the stadium district on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday," said Chris May, the general manager of BC Place. There will be no outdoor gathering area near the stadium for fans.

Vancouver sporting event or concert fans may already be familiar with BC Place's usual bag policy, however, for the three upcoming Taylor Swift Eras Tour shows at the stadium, there is a different bag policy in place (see slide 2).
