A grief-stricken Texas is asking whether meteorologists and local officials did enough to prevent flood devastation.

In Travis County, four people are believed dead, with three dead in Burnet County, two in Kendall County, and one death each reported in Tom Green and Williamson counties, county officials have said.

Extreme flooding has left at least 69 dead in Texas. Eleven people remain missing from Camp Mystic, a Christian girls camp.
