RICHMOND — Police arrested nine people and impounded four vehicles following an illegal sideshow in the early morning hours of Saturday, according to a social media post from the Richmond Police Department.

Police in Richmond busted a large sideshow with over 200 participants early Saturday morning, taking nine people into custody and seizing four vehicles that were involved, according to authorities.

A sideshow in Richmond with hundreds of participants and dozens of cars blocking the streets ended with the arrests of nine people and impoundment of four cars, police said Saturday.

Police responded at 12:21 a.m. to reports of a sideshow in the 1300 block of Canal Boulevard. Officers encountered more than 200 participants and more than 50 vehicles blocking the street, engaging in sideshow activity.

Nine people were arrested for their alleged involvement in a sideshow in Richmond and four vehicles were also impounded. In Salinas, an 18-year-old was killed.
