2025 three-star running back Omar Mabson committed to continue his football career at Auburn on Monday. A hometown kid that plays his high school football for Auburn High School, Mabson is the No. 37 ranked prospect from the Heart of Dixie in the class.

Auburn added a late piece to its 2025 recruiting class Monday morning when hometown running back Omar Mabson committed to the Tigers. Mabson, who announced he was reclassifying into the Class of 2025 in December, visited the Tigers this weekend. He helped Auburn High to the Class 7A quarterfinals in the fall.

Running back Omar Mabson was a 2026 recruit, but he felt ready to go to the college level and he could do so scholastically, so he reclassified to the 2025 class.
