The relatively low wages Manchester United pay winger Alejandro Garnacho could offer an opportunity for Napoli to sign him in January, says French football journalist Julien Laurens. Garnacho has been the subject of speculation about a move away from Old Trafford after reports in Italy claimed his representatives have met with the Italian side.

However, they have failed with an initial approach for Garnacho that fell significantly below the Red Devils' valuation of the Argentina international. It is not known the precise nature of the communication but it is thought the figure mentioned by Napoli was around £40m.
