Michigan State basketball will face Colorado in its return to the Maui Invitational for the sixth time, with the last appearance coming in 2019.

The Spartans survived for a three-point win in the opening round of the Maui Invitational and 30 years later, Izzo is back for a fifth time. In the three decades since his debut, Izzo has won a national title, reached the Final Four eight times and been enshrined in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
