A man has been arrested in connection with the killing of a man in Cleves on Sunday, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office reported.

A man is facing an aggravated murder charge after a deadly shooting last weekend in Cleves. According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened on Sept. 15 on East Miami River Road. Police said David Vanover, 40, allegedly shot and killed Joseph Gladwell. Prosecutors said Vanover used an AR-15 to shoot the victim.

Marquea Cato, 31, was taken into custody about 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 18. He's accused of fatally shooting Alan Whitworth, 48.

Phoenix police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting death of a construction worker earlier this month. Police say 31-year-old Marquea Cato was arrested overnight and will be booked into jail on murder and aggravated assault charges.
