An Idaho teenager has been arrested after the body of an infant was found last month at a hospital in a box meant for people to anonymously give up a newborn.

An 18-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a deceased infant that was left in an Idaho Safe Haven Baby Box last month.

BLACKFOOT, Idaho — A teen from Twin Falls has been arrested and charged with failure to report a death after police said she left a deceased baby girl in an Idaho Safe Haven Baby Box in Blackfoot, the only one in the state of Idaho.
