A federal judge in Texas has ordered a new hearing on whether the satirical news outlet The Onion made a valid bid for the Infowars platforms of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, who alleges a bankruptcy auction was marred by fraud and collusion.

A bankruptcy judge in Houston held a status conference Monday afternoon to discuss Austin-based conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ attempt to halt the sale of his Infowars platform to satirical news site The Onion and set a sale hearing date.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Lopez had been scheduled to hear an emergency motion to disqualify The Onion’s bid on Monday, but put it off until either Dec. 9 or Dec. 17. That’s also when the judge will hear arguments on the trustee’s request to approve the sale of Infowars to The Onion.
