GTA 5 actor Steven Ogg is open to returning as Trevor in GTA 6, but on one very specific and brutal condition.

GTA fans are waiting for the next installment, and one classic character from GTA 5 could show up for this one reason, says the actor.

GTA 6 is set in Vice City, which is that world's version of Miami. If we assume the US in-game is geographically similar to the real-life one, then that would mean Trevor is very far from his home in Los Santos. But if there's anywhere I'd expect Trevor to end up after GTA 5, it's Florida. Maybe it'll contain some of San Andreas' backwater bliss.

The biggest game of 2025, if it doesn't get delayed, is undoubtedly going to be Grand Theft Auto 6: We've had a trailer but little else from Rockstar, even though Take-Two's CEO says the game's on-track for "fall" (though who knows when we'll see the PC version).

Steve Ogg, the actor behind GTA 5's breakout main character Trevor, has said he wants to return in Rockstar's upcoming GTA 6 in order to die at the very beginning. Speaking to ScreenRant, Ogg said he believed the idea would make for a neat moment where he passed the torch to GTA 6's new protagonists - even if it meant getting his head kicked in.
