Music legend Elton John says an infection he got earlier this year has left him without sight in one eye. The “Rocket Man” singer revealed in September that a severe eye infection had left him with “only limited vision in one eye.

Elton John is giving an update on his vision problems. The EGOT winner, 77, revealed in an interview with Robin Roberts on “Good Morning America” on Monday that he can’t see out of his right eye after developing an infection over the summer, which has affected his ability to make new music.

Despite his health challenges, the six-time Grammy Award winner is looking at the positives in his life, including his two children, Zachary, 13, and Elijah, 11, whom he shares with his husband, David Furnish. John is also looking forward to his upcoming documentary.
