An ex-boyfriend of Rivas Hernandez has come forward, claiming she had an unhappy home life and had talked about running away.

In an interview with TMZ, 15-year-old Damien Hernandez, alongside his mother Jamie, shared that he dated Celeste when she was in the seventh grade at a Lake Elsinore school. Damien was in the eighth grade at the time. He described Celeste as "kind" but also visibly unhappy. He further shared that her mother did not treat her well.
