TCU came up short once again in Lubbock as they fell to No. 22 Texas Tech 71-57. A common thread in these losses has been the poor shooting. That continued on Wednesday as the Frogs shot 5-18 (27.8%) from beyond the arc and 12-22 (54%) from the free throw line.

Brendan Wenzel is TCU's only player shooting above 34% from 3-point range. He doesn't score too often (8.7 points per game) and is only 1-of-12 from deep in his last two games, he's one Texas Tech can't afford to let get hot. Wenzel also transferred to TCU after Jeff Linder left Wyoming to be an assistant at Tech.
