A new storm impacting the Northwest could bring additional damage to the region following a historically strong bomb cyclone. It’s also adding another jolt of energy to an atmospheric river that’s already dumped nearly a foot and a half of rain on parts of California this week.

Forecasters said a final round of rain, snow and high winds were targeting the Pacific Northwest and Northern California regions on Friday.
