Tourism Northern Ireland has described the recent Amgen Irish Open in Co Down as “incredibly successful”. More than 71,000 fans descended on Newcastle during the five-day event, which was held this year at Royal County Down Golf Club.

Amgen Irish Open prize money payout is from the $6 million purse, with 67 professional players who complete four rounds at Royal County Down in Co. Down, Northern Ireland, earning DP World Tour prize money and an official-money paycheck this week.

Amgen Irish Open final leaderboard is headed by winner Rasmus Hojgaard, who topped the DP World Tour leaderboard this week with a win at Royal County Down in County Down, Northern Ireland. Hojgaard won on the DP World Tour for the fifth time in his career,

Rory McIlroy has 17 DP World Tour wins. He’s 18 holes from adding an 18th. McIlroy tied for low the round of the day on Saturday with a 2-under 69 at Royal County Down in Newcastle, Northern Ireland, at the 2024 Amgen Irish Open.
