a well organized ride through the city and while 40 miles may seem like a lot unless you are in the front row the pace is very slow and the time just flies by. Full review by Try2TravelSustainabl

Riding through the streets of NYC with no cars was such a great experience. I'm from the city, but no longer live there. This was my group's and I first time doing this. This only happens once a year… Full review by drjo318
I’m returning to do the 5 Boro next year and I no longer have family in the area, so that means I’ll need a bike friendly hotel In Manhattan. I know Bike New York has event-affiliates. Our hotel had a tended bike corral in the lobby (or maybe they took them elsewhere). Frankly since it was raining they probably didn't want people wheeling wet bikes across their carpet, and I wouldn't blame them. I guess you just have to ask but most would make accommodations since the bike event is the reason you're there.
