Brunson is a town in Hampton County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 554 at the 2010 census. Brunson is located in northern Hampton County at 32°55′36″N 81°11′16″W / 32.92667°N 81.18778°W. U.S. Route 278 passes through the center of town, leading northwest 3 miles to Fairfax and southeast 6 miles to Hampton, the county seat.
