Planning on being in the area the weekend of the festival. What is the typical temperature and do you have any changes in your leaves that early? Is it jacket weather? We are from the south and are use to hot temps.
we visited several years ago and found ourselves at a glorious food festival. with samples offered from local restaurants and a beer tent with live entertainment. Does this still occur? I think it was around Labor Day weekend?

I think it still occurs. I have not been there on labor day weekend in forever though. So it might have changed
